If you see vintage war birds flying over in formation Saturday morning, it’s to draw you out to West Michigan Regional Airport for our annual Runway 5K, Pancake Breakfast, and Fly-in. There is still time to register online for the Runway 5K at runsignup.com or show-up at 7AM on Saturday for same day registration. All race packets can be picked up at the registration table any time after 7AM and the race will start promptly at 8AM. The Lions will serve their famous pancakes from 8 to Noon. The cost for breakfast is just $6/person or $25 for a family of up to 6 people. The EAA Young Eagles will start giving free plane rides to kids ages 8 to 17 at 8:30 AM. Come early to register your children. Have you always wanted to go up in a helicopter, or a lear jet? Or maybe you would like to meet some of our Wings of Mercy pilots and ride in a plane that has been used for our missions. Helicopter, plane and lear jet rides will be available for an additional donation. Don’t miss this unique event.
