No Pancakes in a Pandemic

No Pancakes in a Pandemic

It’s almost June, and usually, we are gearing up for our Muskegon CareAffaire and Run for Wings 5K. Not surprisingly, we have had to rethink our plans for summer events this year.

As much as we love serving pancakes and sausage to hundreds of our faithful supporters, we just can’t do it safely now.  Large gatherings of any kind are being discouraged until we are post-pandemic, and no one knows when that might be.  For this reason, we will not be hosting any pancake breakfast/fly-in events for the summer of 2020.

However, plans are coming together for two of our 5K runs.  We will be holding the Muskegon Run for Wings 5K and the Holland Runway 5K as virtual runs the second week in September.  Our organizers need a little more time to work out the details, but we will let you know what to expect very soon.

As always, thank you for your incredible support.  Our summer events are like family reunions, and we will miss seeing everyone.  Until we can safely gather again, may God bless and keep each of you healthy and safe.
