All West Michigan is invited to the 29th Annual Muskegon CareAffaire and Run for Wings 5K benefiting Wings of Mercy on Saturday, June 14, from 8 AM to Noon. This year, the event will be held in the Community Hangar at Muskegon County Airport. Parking is available at West Michigan Christian High School, with shuttle service to the event hangar every 6 to 9 minutes.
This event has been a local favorite for years and a significant funding source for Wings of Mercy. The pancake breakfast, Run for Wings 5k walk/run, formation flying demonstrations by the Hooligans, static plane display, rides, and kid’s activities combine to make it a fun airport outing for the whole family. There will also be a Classic Car Show featuring the West Michigan Street Rod Association.
The Muskegon Host Lions will provide the pancake and sausage breakfast.
Breakfast Tickets $6/Person
$25 for a Family of 6
Checks, cash, and credit cards will be accepted.
You can register online for the Run for Wings 5K at https://runsignup.com/Race/MI/NortonShores/RunForWings5K

All proceeds will benefit Wings of Mercy, a faith-based, non-profit, volunteer pilot organization dedicated to helping people in need have access to life-saving medical care by arranging free flights to distant medical facilities. Not only does this event raise much-needed funds, but it also helps us get the word out about the service we provide so we can better serve our West Michigan community.
