Wings of Mercy is proud to announce the appointment of Jeff Ostrander as Executive Director.
Based in West Michigan but serving the medical transportation needs for patients east of the Rocky Mountains, Wings of Mercy is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that arranges free air transportation to qualifying patients who would not be able to afford private airplane flights to and from distant medical facilities. Founded by Peter VandenBosch in 1991, Wings of Mercy has flown more than 8,000 patient missions. Wings of Mercy continues to uphold the legacy created by Mr. VandenBosch after he passed away in October 2014.
Terry Boer, Wings of Mercy’s president, explained that “Jeff brings new and outstanding abilities that enhance the talents of our current staff and will ensure our continued ability to give Wings to those in need for all who require our services.”
Jeff Ostrander summarized his enthusiasm for the new role by saying “I am excited to join an organization that has accomplished so much and so carefully follows the loving example of Jesus.”
